public security chief patronises quran contest final ceremony

Under the patronage of Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, the General Directorate of Guards has held the concluding function of the 14th Public Security Quran Competition in which 150 contestants from Interior Ministry directorates took part.

The Chief affirmed the importance of such events which, he said, showed the Interior Ministry’s keenness to promote Quran-teaching among police personnel while carrying out their security missions.

He thanked the Directorate for organising the event and also the participating directorates.

The event ended with the Chief honouring the winners, the organising committee and the panel of judges.
